Annual billing is paid yearly at two months off the monthly rate. Enterprise pricing is quoted to your users, volume and infrastructure needs.
A completed interview. Screen-outs, quota-fulls and partials don’t draw down your pool — you only spend a response when someone finishes.
Nothing stops. Fielding keeps running and extra completes are billed at your plan’s per-response rate — $0.15 on Solo, $0.10 on Team, negotiated on Enterprise.
Included responses are an annual, shared org pool — not per-seat and not per-month. A heavy launch month is fine as long as you’re within the year’s total. Unused responses don’t roll over to the next year.
No. The whole platform — building, logic, fielding, crosstabs, exports — works fully without AI. Credits only apply to the optional AI assistant (writing a survey from a brief, inline edits, auto-translate). If you never use it, you never spend them.
You see an estimate before anything runs and you approve it; you’re then charged for the actual work, which is usually less. As a feel: a quick question is well under a credit, a typical edit is 1–2, and turning a full document into a programmed survey runs higher. Top up anytime at $0.03/credit.
No — accounts are per organization and the whole org is on one plan. You sign up with an org name and invite members into it.
Solo is built for one independent researcher. The moment you want to collaborate — shared projects, roles, client sharing — you’ve outgrown Solo, and that’s exactly what Team is. Adding a teammate upgrades the org to Team (up to 25 users).

Yes to both. Upgrading from Solo to Team takes effect immediately — your Solo credit is prorated against the first Team invoice, and the whole org gets Team features right away. Downgrading from Team to Solo takes effect at the end of the current billing period, so your team keeps Team features until the renewal date and switches cleanly on the next cycle. Enterprise moves either way are handled by sales so contracts, data residency and user accounts stay clean.
