before you field.

The linter runs on every save: unresolved question references, undefined options, broken skip conditions, missing lookup values. The simulator's Validation Audit then fires a blank answer (and, for numbers, an out-of-range value) against every reachable question to confirm the engine actually blocks it. Issues surface before launch morning.
